Dr. Guirguis, MD, FAAP

Dr. Guirguis is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) with extensive experience in both emergency and inpatient pediatric care. He completed his postgraduate training at Columbia University Medical Center, affiliated with Harlem Hospital’s Department of Pediatrics, where he distinguished himself with top performance on the Pediatric Board Examination.

Throughout his career, Dr. Guirguis has served in highly respected institutions including Staten Island University Hospital, Harlem Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Department, and Pediatric Inpatient Services. His clinical background provides him with a strong foundation in managing both routine and complex pediatric conditions with confidence and compassion.

After relocating to Florida, Dr. Guirguis served in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Spring Hill Regional Hospital before opening his own pediatric practice in Hernando County in March 2010. His vision was to provide accessible, high-quality pediatric care — including after-hours services — to better serve the needs of local families.

Dr. Guirguis is known for his clinical excellence, dedication to children’s health, and commitment to building long-term relationships with families in the community. His approach combines advanced medical expertise with attentive, personalized care to support every child’s healthy growth and development.
